Public Folder to Private
  • Ideal for those who need to sync new items made at the office in a public folder to a user’s personal folder (Calendars, Contacts, Tasks, Posts).
  • Unidirectional for view only or bidirectional to allow for changes and modifications of the copied items.
  • Eliminates the need to give delegations.
  • Eliminates meeting acceptances.
  • Employs the Confidentiality module of calendar appointments, i.e. if an item is marked private, it can be set to not copy the item or block out the time without any details.
  • Does not require the use of a pivot folder.
Private to Public Folder
  • Ideal for those who need to sync new items made in a user’s personal folder to a public folder (Calendars, Contacts, Tasks, Posts).
  • Allows those in your office to see the user’s items (appointments or contacts) in the selected public folder.
  • Unidirectional for view only or bidirectional to allow for changes and modifications of the copied items.
  • Eliminates the need to give delegations.
  • Eliminates meeting acceptances.
  • Employs the Confidentiality module of calendar appointments, i.e. if an item is marked private, it can be set to not copy the item or block out the time without any details.

Two Way
  • Ideal for Calendars, Contacts, Tasks, Posts folder synchronization.
  • Allows any new items made in a user’s personal folder to go to the public folder.
  • Allows any new items made in the public folder to be synchronized to a user’s personal folder.
  • Unidirectional for view only or Bidirectional to allow for changes and modifications of the copied items.
Private Folder to Private
  • Ideal for two users who need to sync items between their personal folders – Calendars, Contacts, Tasks, Posts.
  • Unidirectional for view only or Bidirectional to allow for changes and modifications of the copied items.
Public Folder to Public
  • Useful for consolidating items from several public folders into one Company-wide folder. Ex: calendars and contacts or several departments within a business.
  • Does not require the use of a pivot folder.
One Private Folder to Many Private
  • Ideal for a user who needs to sync information from his personal folders (Calendars, Contacts, Tasks) to several other users.
  • Ideal for relationship group management.
Many Private Folders to One Private
  • Ideal for a manager or dispatcher who would like to synchronize items from his team’s personal folders (Calendars, Contacts, Tasks).

One Public Folder to Many Private
  • Ideal for those who need to synchronize items made in a public folder to multiple users – such as Calendars, Contacts, Tasks, Email, Faxes.
  • Unidirectional for view only or Bidirectional on edits and/or deletes.
  • Useful for sending company-wide information to various departments or team members with mobile devices.
  • No meeting acceptances.
  • Simplified relationship template feature with Relationship Group Manager.
  • Global Address Lists.
Many Private Folders to One Public
  • Ideal for anyone who needs to consolidate their users’ personal folder contents (Calendars, Contacts, Tasks, Posts) into a company-wide or department public folder.
  • Useful for management, teams, departments, H/R for staffing.
Active Directory Global Address List Sync
  • Enables automatic folder synchronization of your global address list contacts to a GAL cache folder (public folder, new private mailbox folder, or resource mailbox dedicated for caching the GAL or replicated source contents).
  • Allows GAL exclusions. If you have a number of sensitive contacts in the active directory which shouldn’t be synchronized to selected users, the contacts/groups will be ignored by the GAL sync initialization process.
  • Be selective. Choose which users to sync to. After the GAL sync is initialized, build your relationships for syncing to your users’ local contact folders for mobile device access and caller ID recognition.
  • GAL synchronization relationships can be created normal (one at a time) or by group using the Relationship Group Manager feature.
