Exchange System Management tools are already installed on the server where Add2Exchange is being installed.  Usually this is the case if you are installing Add2Exchange on the Exchange Server 2003 system itself.

If you are installing Add2Exchange on a server separate from the Exchange Server, you must first install Exchange System Management tools.  This can be done from your Exchange distribution media by selecting the appropriate boxes in the custom install process as follows:

Exchange Server Deployment Setup Window

1.From the Exchange Server media run Setup.exe.  From the Deployment window select Install Exchange System Management Tools Only.

Deployment Tools Setup Window

2.Make sure your system meets the requirements described in the Deployment Tools window.  When ready, select Run Setup now.

Exchange Installation Wizard Dialog

3.In the Exchange Installation Wizard, select Custom for the "Microsoft Exchange" installation action and Install for the "Microsoft Exchange System Management Tools" installation action.  If necessary, change the drive selection for the installation.  Click Next >.
4.Allow the installation to complete.  Go to Microsoft Update and apply all relevant updates.  DidItBetter Software recommends rebooting your server after applying any updates, including those which do not mandate a reboot.
