How Add2Exchange Works
Add2Exchange is installed on the Exchange Server or File Server. Once installed, the administrator creates relationships between two Outlook folders of the same type (Calendar, Contact, or Task). Once the folder relationship is configured, items created in the source folder are copied to the destination folder. Then any changes, edits or deletions are synchronized unidirectional or bidirectional based on the Rules of the Relationship. What is an Outlook Folder Relationship?
A Folder Relationship is a relationship set up by an administrator on a pair of calendars, contact folders or task folders to determine the type of copying which is desired between a source and a destination folder. Replication can be done on any combination of the same type of Exchange private and public Outlook folders. Once the relationship is created, items will replicate based on user definable settings or the “Rules of the Relationship”.
